Instagram has finally launched the much-awaited feature on its applications. Its applications with a Dark interface has been updated by the company which starts today. The new Instagram Dark mode feature was earlier in beta version and after making doing several testing and making many improvements, the feature is here. Let’s take a close look at all the details.
Instagram’s CEO Adam Mosseri has revealed that the new Dark mode feature will be suitable to Android 10 and iOS 13 devices. Those on Android 9 will get the feature only if their device supports system-wide Dark mode.
Nothing much to say here because the application automatically starts the Dark UI once the app is updated to the latest version. The UI and the Youtube Dark mode are very similar as here the main content page is in dark black color and on the other hand, the navigation and search bar are of dark grey color.
Once the Instagram dark mode on the device has been changed to regular light mode, the app will automatically get the light UI. That is how it’s gonna work. Therefore, there are no settings that would turn it on or off in the application.
Other than this, several other features are also being tested by the company on the beta app which will be released soon. Once they are out we are gonna be the first one to notify you regarding the same.
